Southern Ferries is the official and exculsive GSA for Algerie Ferries in the UK. Algerie Ferries was created as part of ENTMV (National Undertaking of Maritime transport Travellers) by decree on 14th July, 1987. On 7th April, 1990, Algerie Ferries became a public economic company and has been transporting passengers to Algeria ever since.

Algerie Ferries has 3 major activities which are: Maritime transport of passengers and vehicles, Freight transport, and associated martime transport activities such as shipping consignments and ticketing sales.
